RABIH   DOW
Rehab (front and back sides shown),  Acrylic on Glass,  15" Diameter, 2003

Rehab - Both sides of a two sided piece of circular glass are shown. On the front side there (shown left) is a similar scene to Dawn: An eye painted boldy and large in black, on an orange red opaque surface Inside the circle of the iris shape, there are thin silver lines, over the light brown used as backgrounds in many of Dow's paintings. Two of the central vertical bars are bent creating an opening. On the back side (shown right) is an expanded view of what was visible in the circlular iris of the eye shape depicted on the other side, covering the surface. There are opaque vertical bars, two of which toward the center are bent open. There is nothing inside. A more complete visual description to come!
