Fear,  Acrylic on Glass,  15" Diameter, 2007

Fear - The background color is browny silver and opaque. There is an eye painted with a relatively thin line, as if with a marker, and it is a fat almond shape as if widened, with a hovering circle for an iris in its center. That the edges of the outer lids or curves don't touch the circular iris suggest an eye widened in fear. In front of this eye are silver, loosely painted daggers, icicles or pointy fang like triangles, coming from the bottom of the frame and the top. They echo the prison bars seen in the other paintings. There are 5 on the top and 5 on the bottom, and they are not closed completely, in front of the eye shape.
